I like to write on various topics, including recent theological thought, relevant issues, book reviews, and maybe even on politics and occasionally about some basketball – specifically the LA Lakers. I hope to grow in my theological understanding and have a deeper appreciation for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I do have a special interest in the writings of Dr. Gordon Fee, so you will see him referenced often, and I have devoted a special topic called “Friday’s with Fee”. Also be sure to visit my friends in my blogroll, they are a mix bag of theology, biblical literature & languages, and the occasional off beat topics.

About me:
I am currently enrolled at King’s Evangelical Divinity School (KEDS) and working towards my Bachelor of Theology, once completed I plan to start right away on my Masters. Not sure if I will continue at KEDS or enroll at another seminary.
I am happily married to my wife Becky (going on 20 years!), I have two kids my daughter Renae, and my son Bobby. I was born in the 60’s!!! Not old enough to remember the Vietnam war, but just old enough to remember President Nixon.
Currently I serve as the Associate Pastor at Praise Chapel Paramount, and work a full time job. I am the director and founder of Paramount Bible Institute, where I teach through out the year. I really enjoy teaching through God’s word, and imparting into others what I have learned.
Hobbies: Photography, reading, buying new bibles, playing Xbox 360 shooter games, and buying new bibles.
Interesting things about me:
I worked for Disney Animation as Lead Technical Support Engineer on movies such as: Hercules, Mulan, Tarzan, Dinosaur, & Fantasia.
I also worked for DreamWorks Animation as Head of Digital Operations, and worked on the following movies: El Dorado, Spirit, Sinbad, and a small bit on Shrek (we help render some scenes).
I even got to fly on Jeffrey Katzenberg private plane with him on board on a short trip to the Silicone Valley.
